Frequently asked questions
Everything customers ask us most often — how repairs work, how pricing is handled, how mail-in shipping runs, and what our warranty covers.
General
- What kinds of devices do you repair?
- Game consoles and handhelds, desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and phones. We also take a look at other consumer electronics — send us the details and we will tell you whether it is something we can take on.
- Where are you located?
- Our service location is 137 Bridge Ave E, Upper Level Suite 240, Delano, MN 55328. Drop-off and pick-up are by appointment, so we know to expect you and your device gets looked at rather than sitting on a shelf.
- How do I get in touch?
- Call or text 763-204-0411. We do not use email — the fastest way to start is the repair request form, and we follow up by phone.
- Do I need an appointment?
- Yes for drop-off and pick-up. Submit the repair request form first and we will arrange a time during shop hours.
- What happens when I bring a device in?
- We inspect and diagnose it in person, then review what we found and what it will cost with you. Nothing gets repaired before you approve it.
Pricing and estimates
- Is the online estimate the final price?
- No. The range you see is a starting estimate based on what you describe. The final price is confirmed after we inspect the device in person, and we tell you before any work begins.
- Why is the range so wide on some repairs?
- Part cost drives it. A display or a battery for one model can cost several times what the same part costs for another, so we hold off on a firm number until we know the exact device and the actual fault.
- What if the device cannot be repaired?
- There is no fee if we cannot fix it. We tell you plainly what we found and you decide whether the device comes back to you or gets disposed of responsibly.
- When do I pay?
- After the repair is complete and the device has been tested — not up front.
Mail-in and shipping
- Which states do you accept mail-in repairs from?
- Anywhere in the contiguous United States — all Lower 48 states. Local Minnesota customers can choose mail-in too if the drive is not worth it.
- How do I start a mail-in repair?
- Submit the repair request form with your device and symptoms first. We respond with a starting estimate and shipping instructions before you send anything.
- What should I include in the box?
- Print the pack-in slip, fill it in, and put it in the box with the device. Pack the device snugly with padding and mail it to P.O. Box 26, Delano, MN 55328. Include accessories only if they are part of the problem — leave cases, games, and memory cards at home.
- Which carrier should I use?
- Whichever you prefer — USPS, UPS, and FedEx all work. We recommend a tracked, insured service for anything you would not want to lose in transit.
- How does the device get back to me?
- We ship it back to the return address on your pack-in slip once the repair is complete and tested.
Warranty and data
- Do your repairs come with a warranty?
- Yes. Screen repairs are covered for 90 days, non-battery internal repairs for 180 days, and battery repairs for one year. Each warranty is limited to repair workmanship and/or part failure.
- What is not covered?
- New physical damage, liquid exposure after the device is returned, and faults unrelated to the repair we performed. Those are new repairs rather than warranty work.
- Will you look through my files?
- No. We only access what is needed to test the device and confirm the repair worked. Back up anything irreplaceable before service — that is good practice with any repair shop.
- Could I lose my data during a repair?
- Most repairs never touch storage. When the storage device itself is the fault, data may not be recoverable, which is why we ask you to back up first whenever the device still powers on.
Service areas
- Which areas do you serve locally?
- We serve Wright, Hennepin, Anoka, McLeod, Sherburne, Dakota, Ramsey, and Stearns counties from our Delano service location, with drop-off by appointment.
- Do you have a storefront in my city?
- No — we operate from a single service location in Delano. Customers across the metro and central Minnesota bring devices to Delano by appointment, or use mail-in instead.
- Do you offer pickup or on-site service?
- Repairs happen at our Delano service location. If travel is a problem, mail-in works from anywhere in the Lower 48, including within Minnesota.
