Tablet Repair in Delano, MN — and Nationwide by Mail
Tablets are mostly screen, so that is what usually needs work. We repair iPads, Android tablets, and Fire tablets — display damage, charging faults, worn batteries, and buttons or ports that have stopped responding.
Drop yours off at our Delano service location during business hours (8:30 AM–7:30 PM daily), or mail it in from anywhere in the Lower 48. You will have a starting estimate before it moves, and a final price after we open it up.
Typical starting range$131 – $255Starting estimate only. The final price is confirmed after we inspect the device. Diagnostic charges are approved at intake; repair work requires your approval.
Standard intake is a $25 bench fee for intake and physical shelf space plus a $45 diagnostic fee covering the first 30 minutes of diagnostic bench time. Declined or unrepairable devices owe a flat $70, plus return shipping for mail-in orders. When deeper repair or board-level work is needed beyond the first 30 minutes, approved shop labor continues in 20-minute increments at $40 per increment ($120/hour). We agree on hidden-damage and additional-work limits at intake before proceeding.

How the repair runs
Open it carefully
Tablet displays are glued down, so getting in without adding damage is half the job. We use controlled heat and take the time it needs.
Confirm the real fault
Cracked glass and a failed display are not the same repair. We check whether the digitizer, the LCD, or both need replacing before quoting.
Charging and battery service
Charging faults get traced through the port and the charging circuit, and battery replacements are sealed and tested rather than just swapped.
Seal and test
The tablet is resealed properly and tested for touch across the whole panel, charging, buttons, and audio before it goes back.
Before you drop off or ship
- Remove the case and any screen protector, and leave SD cards out of the box.
- Include the charging cable only if charging is part of the problem.
- If the screen is shattered, tape over the glass before shipping so it does not shed in transit.
Mailing it in? Print the pack-in slip and include it in the box.

Tablet Repair questions
- What are your liquid-damage terms?
- Liquid-damaged devices require an upfront, non-refundable diagnostic/cleaning fee, with the amount confirmed and approved before work begins. They are serviced strictly As-Is / No Warranty because latent corrosion can cause future failures. Data recovery is a separate paid service.
- Is a cracked tablet screen worth repairing?
- Usually, yes — display parts are the main cost, and on most tablets a repair is well under replacement cost. Send us the exact model in the request form and we will give you a starting estimate.
- Part of my tablet screen does not respond to touch. Is that a screen problem?
- Almost always. Dead touch zones point to the digitizer layer, which is part of the display assembly. We verify it during diagnosis before replacing anything.
- My tablet will not charge. Do I need a new port?
- Not necessarily. Charging ports collect lint and debris, and sometimes a cleaning is all that is needed. If the port itself is worn or bent, it is replaceable.
- Can you replace a tablet battery?
- Yes. Tablet batteries are glued in place, so it is careful work, but it is standard for us. Battery replacement includes testing charge behaviour afterwards.
- Can I mail a tablet in for repair?
- Yes — we take mail-in tablet repairs from anywhere in the Lower 48. Submit the form first so we can send shipping instructions and a starting estimate before you pack it.
